Jordanów

Jordanów is a charming town in Suski County in Lesser Poland, which, due to its location among mountains and forests, has earned the name of a “green town” and a holiday-tourist destination. It is a convenient starting point for trips to nearby mountain ranges including Luboń or Babia Góra, whose grandeur can be admired from the rented house. A short distance away is the Babia Góra National Park. Near the house is Przykiec peak with attractive vantage points on the Skawa valley, the Island Beskid, the Gorce Mountains, the Tatra Mountains and the Babia Góra Range. There are also numerous ski slopes in the area.

Neighborhood

The house is located on the sidelines, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
From the large garden there is a view of Babia Góra.
You can walk to the nearby forest, through which there are mountain trails, a detailed description of which can be found below.
The market, where there is an opportunity for a variety of shopping, is only a 10-minute walk from our house. The “U Lipy” restaurant is also nearby.

Red Trail:

– Jordanów – Bystra village – Hala Krupowa hostel (about 17 km one way). Further on you can go to Polica and even Babia Gora. It is also possible to descend to the village of Sidzina, reach the center of Sidzina and from there return to Jordanów by public transportation.

– in the opposite direction: Jordanów – Wysoka village – Skawa village – Rabka (about 16 km).

From Sidzina to Hala Krupowa

Yellow Trail:

– To the small hill of Kowalowka above Jordan (about 4 km, most of which by paved road). Further on, the trail leads to the village of Krzeczów and to the top of Zębalowa.

– in the opposite direction: Jordanów – Mount Ludwiki over Jordanów and Bystra (about 4 km. most of it by asphalt road). From Mt. Ludwiki you can descend along the blue trail to Sidzina and return by bus to Jordanów, or follow the yellow trail to the Bór equestrian center in Toporzysko and from there return along the same route or through the village of Sidzina.

From Mt. Ludwiki you can also go down the blue trail to the village of Wysoka and then take the red trail to Jordanów PKP.

Blue Trail:

– Jordanów – Groń/Polana Gronie (approx. 7 km. one way. From here you can descend to Osielc near Jordan and from there return by bus to the starting point. You can also continue following the trail to Koskowa Gora and then reach Maków Podhalański (following the yellow trail).

– Jordanów – Luboń Mały (about half of the route to this peak is an asphalt road) and then you can continue on to Luboń Wielki. On Luboń Wielki from Jordanów we have approx. 14 km one way. Then you can go down to Rabka and return by public transportation to Jordanów.

Jordans is only 45 km away from the largest ski complex located in Bialka-Tatranska – about 50 minutes by car.
